What we cover

Four kinds of loan, side by side

Find the row that sounds like your situation. You do not have to pick correctly — if another one suits you better we will say so.

Before you read on: FernCredit never asks for an upfront fee, a processing deposit, your SingPass, your internet-banking password or an OTP. Nobody from our side will ever ask for those. If someone does, it is not us.
01A personal loan enquiry being discussed

Personal Loan

Salaried · Fixed monthly repayment

The general-purpose one. Renovation, a wedding, school fees, a medical bill that arrived at the wrong time. You borrow a set amount and repay the same figure every month until it is finished, so the cost is known on day one.

  • Same repayment every month
  • Payslip or CPF statement usually enough
  • Tenure agreed before signing
Enquiry rangeS$1,000 – 50,000Check my options
02Two advisers reviewing a debt consolidation case

Debt Consolidation

Several debts · One repayment

For people paying three or four bills on three or four dates. The idea is to roll them into one repayment so there is a single number to track. Whether it saves you money depends on your current rates, and we will look at that with you honestly.

  • One date instead of several
  • We say so if it would not help
  • Existing balances reviewed first

03A small business owner discussing working capital

Business & Self-Employed

Owners · Freelancers · Drivers

Written for people without a fixed payslip — hawkers, private-hire drivers, contractors, anyone running something small. Stock, equipment, or covering the gap while an invoice is still unpaid. Bank statements matter more here than an employment letter.

  • No employment letter needed
  • Statements or invoices instead
  • Built for uneven income

04An adviser explaining a short-term loan to a client

Short-Term Cash Flow

Smaller amount · Shorter tenure

A smaller sum over a shorter period, for a gap you can already see the end of — a bill landing before payday, a deposit that has to go out this week. Short tenure means less interest overall but a higher monthly figure, and we show you both before you decide.

  • Shorter tenure, less total interest
  • Higher monthly figure, shown upfront
  • Only suggested when it fits
