Know what you can borrow before you apply anywhere

SGD 1,000 – 50,000

Tell us your situation once. We come back with the loan type that actually fits it and what a lender will realistically look at. No fee, and nothing goes to a lender until you say so.

What we cover

Four kinds of loan, side by side

Find the row that sounds like your situation. You do not have to pick correctly — if another one suits you better we will say so.

Before you read on: FernCredit never asks for an upfront fee, a processing deposit, your SingPass, your internet-banking password or an OTP. Nobody from our side will ever ask for those. If someone does, it is not us.
01A personal loan enquiry being discussed

Personal Loan

Salaried · Fixed monthly repayment

The general-purpose one. Renovation, a wedding, school fees, a medical bill that arrived at the wrong time. You borrow a set amount and repay the same figure every month until it is finished, so the cost is known on day one.

  • Same repayment every month
  • Payslip or CPF statement usually enough
  • Tenure agreed before signing
Enquiry rangeS$1,000 – 50,000Check my options
02Two advisers reviewing a debt consolidation case

Debt Consolidation

Several debts · One repayment

For people paying three or four bills on three or four dates. The idea is to roll them into one repayment so there is a single number to track. Whether it saves you money depends on your current rates, and we will look at that with you honestly.

  • One date instead of several
  • We say so if it would not help
  • Existing balances reviewed first

03A small business owner discussing working capital

Business & Self-Employed

Owners · Freelancers · Drivers

Written for people without a fixed payslip — hawkers, private-hire drivers, contractors, anyone running something small. Stock, equipment, or covering the gap while an invoice is still unpaid. Bank statements matter more here than an employment letter.

  • No employment letter needed
  • Statements or invoices instead
  • Built for uneven income

04An adviser explaining a short-term loan to a client

Short-Term Cash Flow

Smaller amount · Shorter tenure

A smaller sum over a shorter period, for a gap you can already see the end of — a bill landing before payday, a deposit that has to go out this week. Short tenure means less interest overall but a higher monthly figure, and we show you both before you decide.

  • Shorter tenure, less total interest
  • Higher monthly figure, shown upfront
  • Only suggested when it fits

How it works

Five steps from form to money in the bank

Nothing happens behind your back. Every step below needs you to say yes before the next one starts.

STEP 01

Send the form

Your name, what you do, what you earn, how much you need, and a number we can reach.

STEP 02

We read it

A person goes through it. If something does not add up we ask you rather than guess.

STEP 03

We come back

Which loan type fits, what amount is realistic, and what the lender will want to see.

STEP 04

You decide

Nothing moves unless you say so. Walking away here costs nothing and leaves no record.

STEP 05

Lender confirms

Rate, tenure and every repayment come from the lender in writing before you sign.

Enquiries we handleS$1,000 – S$50,000

That is the range of enquiries we pass on — not a figure you are entitled to. What you can actually borrow is decided by the lender after they have seen your income.

Why bother with us

What you get out of asking first

An answer in a day

Most enquiries get a reply within one working day, so you are not left guessing over a weekend.

No fee, either way

Asking costs nothing and we never charge you to release, unlock or process anything.

Fewer wasted applications

Applying blindly at three places helps nobody. We tell you where you actually stand first.

Only five questions

No NRIC scan, no SingPass, no bank login. Just enough to answer you properly.

About us

We ask a few questions first so you do not waste an application

FernCredit is a loan enquiry service based in Singapore. We are not a bank and we are not a moneylender — we do not lend money ourselves. What we do is take your situation, tell you honestly which kind of loan fits it, and pass you to a lender only when the numbers make sense. If nothing fits, we say that instead of pushing you into an application that gets declined.

  • Four loan types, explained in plain English before you decide
  • Enquiries handled across Singapore, including Jurong, Tampines and the CBD
  • A real person reads every form and writes back, usually the same working day
  • The lender confirms the rate, the tenure and the repayment in writing — never us, and never verbally

What people told us afterwards

I had three cards on three different dates and I kept missing one. They walked me through what consolidating would actually cost before I agreed to anything.

JasmineJasmine L.Tampines

Driving private hire means no payslip, and that had been the wall every time. Here the bank statements were enough to get a straight answer.

MarcusMarcus T.Jurong West

What stood out was being told the shorter tenure would cost me more each month. Nobody had put both numbers side by side for me before.

Questions

The ones we get asked most

Does FernCredit lend the money itself?

No. We are an enquiry and matching service. We are not a bank and not a licensed moneylender, and no money ever comes from us. Our job ends when you and a lender are talking directly — every dollar, every rate and every contract comes from them.

Is there a charge for sending an enquiry?

There is no charge to send the form and no charge to hear back. We will never ask you to transfer anything to release, unlock or process a loan. That request is the single most common sign of a scam in Singapore, and it will never come from us.

What interest rate will I pay?

We do not quote rates, because we are not the party lending to you. The rate, the tenure and the exact monthly repayment come from the lender in writing before you sign. If anyone quotes you a rate verbally and pushes you to commit on the spot, stop and check who you are speaking to.

What do you need from me at this stage?

Only what is on the form: your name, your occupation, roughly what you earn a month, how much you are hoping to borrow, and a WhatsApp number. Nothing else. We do not ask for your SingPass, your NRIC scan, your bank password or an OTP — not now and not later.

Will enquiring damage my credit record?

Sending us a form is not a loan application, so on its own it does not create a record anywhere. A record is only created once you apply to a lender directly, and by then you will know exactly what you are applying for.

What if my income is low or irregular?

Say so on the form. Plenty of the people we hear from are self-employed or paid unevenly, and that is a normal case rather than a problem. It does change which loan type makes sense, which is exactly why we ask before we answer.
